Schumetta McLendon began her design career in Malibu, California as a Project Manager at Burdge & Associates Architects. She then went on to work with Scott Halley & Associates Construction to gain hands on experience in the field. Years of working with the best architects, builders and consultants gave her a strong base for her own architectural design firm. Her ability to understand a project from design to completion makes her a valuable asset to any project team.

Prior to working in architecture, Schumetta enjoyed a successful career in film and television, including casting and production at The Walt Disney Company. Schumetta is an avid international football and water polo fan, following the English Premier League and Italian Serie A1. 

Schumetta has served as the Education Chair for the Association for Women in Architecture + Design, Co-Vice Chair for the American Institute of Architecture LA’s Women in Architecture Committee, and as the Design & Architecture Development Director for the Swiss American Chamber of Commerce in Southern California.
